THE GOLFER BEHIND THE NOTES

I’m Joe.
I’m figuring this game out, too.

Fox Bandit Golf is my place to document the rounds, decisions and practice behind trying to become a better golfer.

I play in Colorado and write about the courses I visit, the clubs in my bag and the shots that keep sending me back to practice. My first GHIN index was 14.7. That is a starting reference, not a statement of my current handicap.

What you’ll find here

Firsthand course and round notes, a searchable drill library, and a journal of what I am trying to improve. The practice guides explain the task, the feedback and a way to test whether the work transfers to normal shots.

I write from a golfer’s perspective, rather than presenting myself as a teaching professional. Where a drill needs a coaching demonstration, I link to the original instructor. A useful result for my swing is something to test, not a promise for every golfer.

How the site approaches coverage

Personal reviews distinguish my experience from measured course or equipment testing. News and tournament pieces link to their reporting sources. Material corrections should be made visibly, and any paid relationship that affects a review should be disclosed with that coverage.

Sources, pictures and corrections

Our news briefings summarize linked reporting and add a clearly labeled Fox Bandit view. History pieces connect verified results with practical questions for the everyday golfer. Those practice suggestions are editorial ideas, not a claim about how a featured professional trains.

Firsthand course photographs and round summaries supplied by Joe sit alongside original Fox Bandit graphics. Third-party pictures need a documented reuse license or permission before publication; attribution alone is not permission. See the image credits for the material currently used.

Contact Joe with corrections, questions or business inquiries. Material factual corrections are recorded on the affected article.

The site’s motto is simple: Hardest Game In The World. The next round still gives us another chance.
